Summary of Plot: every summer Joey and his sister Mary Alice visit their grandma in the country. Every chapter is a different year, and their adventures with grandma.
Your Reaction to the book: the best part is love that the grandma shows for her Grandkids. She never says it, but her actions speak louder than words. One year she gets Joey a free airplane ride at the fair, years later when Joey joins the air force, the Grandma stays up all might to watch his train go by her house.
Recommendations: the humor in this book makes this book great for everyone.
